Obituary for J. Henry Toro Sr.

South Plainfield - J. Henry Toro, Sr., 87, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at home.

Born in Plainfield, Henry has been a resident of South Plainfield for over 60 years.

A career electrician, Henry worked for US Metals Refining Company in Carteret as well as at Rutgers University in Piscatway.

Predeceased by his wife who died in November 2014, Virginia, surviving are his three sons, Henry of South Plainfield, Steve of Manville and Wayne Toro of Lakeland, Fl; four grandchildren, Theresa Gigliotti, Steve, Chris and Michel Toro and four great grandchildren, Dominic, Juliana and Else Gigliotti and Jenna Toro.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 10:30AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by interment in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.

Family and friend may join for visitation on Monday from 7-9PM in the funeral home.
