Cosette Marie Ford, nee Abi-Daher, 83, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away suddenly on May 31, 2018 in Brooklyn, NY.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon to the late Antoine and Fadwa Abi-Daher, she came to the United States with her family in 1972 and moved to Manhattan before settling to Brooklyn over 40 years ago.
Cosette was the matriarch of her family, she was the embodiment of generosity and love and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was known for her incredible cooking, especially traditional Lebanese food. She would never arrive empty handed to an event, no matter how big or small the gathering. Cosette had a charisma about her, from the stories of her youth, to the traditions she passed on through the generations in her family, she leaves a legacy of love, food, and culture for her family to cherish.
Cosette was preceded in death by her dear sister Antoinette, and her husband Lloyd Ford.
She is survived by her loving daughters Gisele Khoury-Guerrero and Therese Khoury-Mouakkar and husband Ibrahim, her cherished grandchildren, Jacquline Guerrero, Carla Portilla and husband Mario, Christina Fiorilli and husband Ron, Priscilla Guerrero-Oceguera and husband Jesse, and Julio-Antoine Guerrero, her adored great-grandchildren, Jaedyn, Jalyssa, Julian, Ronnie, Soleil, Adrian, Antonio, Scarlett, Ava, and J.J., as well as her three siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to gather for a viewing on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Family and friends are welcome to gather beginning at 9:00AM
Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
